Congratulations of Chang Fo-Chuan Center for the Study of Human Rights of Soochow University, Taiwan, Freshwater Institute and Rights CoLab conclude the present memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on promoting the study and practice of human rights and civil society have signed on May 21, 2024.

         Following forms of collaboration in the MOU agreement:

  1. Promoting general cooperation in human rights and civil society research and practice, particularly new or innovative topics that have not received much attention or support.
  2. Exchanging invitations to human rights experts for symposiums, seminars, lectures, and other opportunities for sharing of research and experiences.
  3. Inviting students to participate as interns when the opportunity presents itself.
  4. Exchanging promotional, research and training materials published by the parties.
  5. Before proceeding with any of the above activities, the parties shall discuss specific terms and conditions regarding costs and other matters as the circumstances may require. None of the parties shall have any financial obligation to the other based on this memorandum of agreement. Each activity undertaken under this agreement shall be approved by the responsible persons from each party and shall comply with each party’s academic, governance and fiscal requirements.
