Students of the undergraduate program are required to pass the tests on “foreign language proficiency”, “information capability”, and “artistic activity” within the period of study, which is one of the criteria for graduation. Graduation requirements by Department of International Business on English language proficiency: At least first stage of high-intermediate level of GEPT, 650 on TOEIC, 500 on TOEFL PBT, 173 on TOEFL CBT, 61 on TOEFL iBT, IELTs 5.0, ALTE Level 3 of BULATS, B2 of Lingua skill Business, B2 of Lingua Skill General, or Soochow University English Proficiency Test.

For students who fail to meet the requirements on English language proficiency, these students can register themselves for attending the English proficiency test of Soochow University within the period of study until meeting the requirements. Alternatively, these students may choose to attend other proficiency tests equivalent of the B1 level, or to take up further English courses I and II.

The Department of International Business has set the completion of the “Business Information Software Application” as the graduation requirement on information capability.
