For enriching the “Global Management Topics Study” course, each and every year, Department of International Business has invited 3 prestigious overseas scholars to be the visiting professor teaching in the course, offering views and insights on various global operations related management issues and cases. The course is offered in undergraduate program, master program, and part-time master program for working professionals, so that students of all levels are provided with the opportunity to be taught by well-known international scholars without the need of studying abroad. The course also enables students to learn viewing things from different cultural perspectives which will broaden students’ horizons towards the world and help building up ambition and confidence of working for multinational corporations. Since the inception of the course, department of international business has invited scholars from around world including Wright State University, Pennsylvania State University, Robert Morris University, Eastern Michigan University, and University of Wisconsin in the United States, East Anglia University in the United Kingdom, Kanazawa Seiryo University and Meiji University in Japan, as well as Soochow University, Capital University of Economics and Business, Nanjing University, Tianjin University, and Wuhan University in China.
