The Review Process of Soochow Journal of Political Science
1.After accepting the submission, the editorial board would decide whether to go into the review process or not.
2.If the submission is going into the reviewing process, every one of the editorial board would nominate four reviewers. Two of the highest nominees would be the anonymous reviewers.
3.The nomination is based on professionalism, avoiding the prejudice or personal relationship.
4.Both the contributor and the reviewers are anonymous
5.There are four different kinds of reviewers' comments:
(1).Accepted
(2).Minor revision
(3).Major revision
(4).Rejected

Situation1:Accepted immediately
Situation2:The author would revise the submission according to reviewer's note. Publish after the editorial board's approval.
Situation3:The author would revise the submission according to reviewer's note. The editorial board would give a second review process and decide whether to publish or not.
Situation4:The submission would be sent to the third reviewer, if the third reviewer gives his/her approval, the submission would be published. If the third reviewer gives major or minor revision, the editorial board would make decision based on the reviewer's note from the third reviewer. If the third reviewer gives his/ her rejection, the submission is rejected.
Situation5:Rejected
6.The editorial board would make decision according to the reviewer's note.
7.These guidelines must be approved by the editorial board. Any revision to these guidelines will require the same approval procedure.
