Students of the undergraduate program are required to pass the tests on “foreign language proficiency”, “information capability”, and “artistic activity” within the period of study, which is one of the criteria for graduation. The "Foreign Proficiency" graduation requirements for the Department of International Business are as follows: equivalent to a TOEIC score of 650 or above. Please refer to the “Graduation Foreign Language Proficiency Standards for the Department of International Business, Soochow University” on the department's website. Students who have not passed the aforementioned English proficiency graduation requirement may register for the Soochow University English Proficiency Test during the specified period of study until they meet the graduation requirements. The courses Reinforcement English (I) and Reinforcement English (II) can also be taken to fulfill the graduation requirement.

The Department of International Business has set the completion of the “Business Information Software Application” as the graduation requirement on information capability.
