The Career Development Center has launched the "Diverse Learning Empowerment Plan" to prepare recent graduates, including those who have deferred their graduation, with immediate employability skills. This comprehensive plan offers a series of rewards and subsidies to cultivate a wide range of student skills.

Subsidy for Diverse Learning Course Registration Fees

  1. Application Period: Offered four times a year, the program has 50 spots available for general students in each session. The Career Development Center retains the right to adjust the number of spots and amend procedures as necessary.
  2. Eligibility: Open to all students at our university, though priority is given to those who are about to graduate. Remaining spots are assigned to students from other grades via a lottery system.
  3. Application Limit: a student can apply for up to 2 courses in each period.
  4. Course Eligibility: A 50% subsidy is offered for "Certification Class" courses at extension departments of domestic universities. Except our university's extension department, barring specific courses like credit, commissioned training, physical fitness, and personal investment or leisure classes, we offer a 50-60% subsidy for other certification courses.
  5. Subsidy Details: Subsidies cover up to half the course cost. If other discounts are already applied, these are deducted before subsidy calculation. Taking the “English Proficiency Enhancement Courses” at our extension department, general students can have a subsidy of 60%, and they can have 50% subsidies for other “Workplace Empowerment courses.” The final subsidy is based on the original course price, so the beneficial part offered by the extension department should be deducted.
  6. Calculation Formula: Subsidy Amount = Amount Paid - (Original Course Price x Subsidy Rate).
  • English Proficiency Enhancement Courses receive a 60% subsidy based on the original price.
  • Workplace Empowerment Courses receive a 50% subsidy based on the original price.
  1. Application Materials: After being enrolled and course completion, students need to submit the application form, original receipt of the course registration fee, and a photocopy of the completion certificate. A guarantee is not required. These should be submitted alongside a completed course feedback form to the Career Development Center, and then the subsidy will be provided.
  2. If students fail to complete a course by the deadline, they must register the payment of guarantee at the Career Development Center and then make the payment at the cashier’s section. They should carry the application forms, original registration fee receipts and original guarantee receipts to the Career Development Center to apply for the subsidy.
  3. Students must provide truthful information about course registration fees. Repeated dishonesty may result in ineligibility for future subsidies.
  4. Application Process: Students should register online, following which they'll receive confirmation of acceptance, register and pay for the course, and then prepare the necessary application materials.
