[Course Subsidies / Exam Registration Subsidies]
Course subsidies and exam registration subsidies may be registered throughout the year within the specified schedule. You must complete registration before the drawing takes place. If you miss the drawing time, you will have to register for the next round. If your payment receipt falls within the same year, it can still be used to apply for subsidies.
Students who intend to apply are reminded to pay close attention to the application schedule and announcements on the official website. Do not miss the period for registration!

[Certification Rewards]
For certification rewards, students may register via the system or the Soochow University app from Jan. 1, 2025 to Nov. 30, 2025. Please be sure to complete registration before the drawing. For certifications obtained after Oct. 1, 2024, if the certificate has not been received by Nov. 30, 2025, you may apply again in 2026.

[Course Subsidies]
A course subsidy is calculated after deducting the discounts already provided by the School of Extension Education; in other words, the subsidy is not simply 50–60% of the amount you actually paid. Please pay special attention to this.

Formula:
Subsidy amount = Amount paid − (Original price for the course × Subsidy rate)

Enter the amount paid and the original price for the course, then select the course/category of student, and the system will calculate the subsidy amount for you.

[Exam Registration Subsidies]
For regular students, the subsidy amount is half of the paid registration fee, up to a maximum of NT$3,000.

For example:
For the IELTS exam with an original fee of NT$7,200, the subsidy granted is NT$3,000.
For the International Trade Certification Examination with an original fee of NT$500, the subsidy granted is NT$250.

You are required to pay a guarantee deposit only if you fail to complete the course or the exam within the required submission deadline:

1.First register your payment information at the Career Development Center.
2.Prepare the guarantee deposit and pay it to the Cashier Section on either campus: NT$1,000 per course and NT$500 per exam.
