Soochow Philosophy seeks to improve and strengthen our outstanding research in a variety of featured topics, such as “Realism and Anti-realism”, “Virtue Epistemology and Chinese Philosophy”, “Virtues: Intellectual and Moral”, and “Knowledge and Action”. We have received grants from MOST and the Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation for supporting our integrated research projects and international collaborations that boast our excellent educational and research facilities and improve our international connections and exchanges. The series of Soochow Lectures in Philosophy has become a world well-known philosophical event, and its publications (of the series of books under the same title) by the Princeton University Press have also gained the international prestige. Our faculty members have all received their PhDs from Asia, Europe, New Zealand, and North America. The diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, international outlook, broad range of expertise, and fruitful academic achievement have supported a comprehensive curriculum and research environment and will continue to create and provide a sustainable development and operation in Philosophical education.
