1.1.3.PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION:

1.1.3.1.To learn of all philosophy fields such as metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, theory of human nature, social philosophy, and their impacts on education.

1.3.2.1.2.Students can go to actual secondary school settings to personally feel the education environment and learning to acquire basic experience and understanding.

Students can acquire the habit of self-reflection to prepare themselves into the secondary school workforce. The class not only provide the students to have education practice to confirm the teacher’s role and class management application, it also grooms the students’ acute observation in order to promote the classroom communication skills and education knowledge and in person experiences. The Specific objectives are as follows:   

1.3.2.2.1.Familiarize the education environment and students’ special traits; connect the theory and application to integrate education knowledge.

1.3.2.2.2.Apply and develop teaching methods and techniques to proceed with the teaching observation systematically.

1.3.2.2.3.Be able to design a curriculum and proceed with the teaching demo; acquired with self-reflection, scrutiny and self-improvement abilities.

1.3.2.3.Group C Japanese Counseling:The class aims to provide last-phased education courses before the students enter the practicum: Through information studying, experience sharing, education internship, service participation, mini class-room practice, group discussion to teach students with actual experience in curriculum drafting and education. Students can acquire the habit of self-reflection to prepare themselves for the secondary school workforce. The class not only provides the students to have education practice to confirm the teacher’s role and class management application, it also grooms the students’ acute observation in order to promote the classroom communication skills and education knowledge and in person experiences. The Specific objectives are as follows:

1.3.2.4.Group D History, Music and Citizen Study: The course aims to continue the education theory and method to prepare for future practicum. Based on this, the students can acquire further education. The course starts with basic curriculum drafting and design, database construction to the course materials, equipment and education method practice to strengthen the education effectiveness. This can aid the students to acquire related knowledge so they can achieve their purpose to connect the secondary classroom.

1.3.2.5.Group E: Math:

1.3.2.5. 1. The students can specialize in the related subjects through review and experience sharing of the professional teachers.

1.3.2.5.2.To be in touch of the education environment to learn about the actual teaching environment and student’s personality traits.

1.3.2.5.3.To integrate the specialty field courses with education knowledge and adequately manipulate the technologies such as electronic whiteboard to design the education activities.

1.3.2.5.4.To proceed with the education operation according to the activity design to improve teaching tactics, improve education abilities and build the foundation and confidence of future education practicum and actual teaching.

1.3.3.TEACHING PRACTICUM II

1.3.3.1.Group A Chinese:This course aims to groom the students to learn the further application of education after Chinese curriculum teaching method-teaching practicum I. Relying on forefront in-person internships, from education modelling, curriculum familiarization, class preparation, course teaching, experience sharing, teaching demo, seminar discussion to recognize and experience the actual teaching conditions so the teachers can mentally prepare for future education practicum. Meanwhile, students can learn from the experience sharing of professional teaching to improve their related course and education knowledge. Furthermore, the students can design and execute their curriculum to improve teaching techniques, improve teaching abilities. Students can also build their foundations and confidence through future practicum, teacher selection and actual teaching experiences.    

1.3.3.2.Group B English:This course follows the Teaching Practicum I to further combine the teaching education with their specialty courses to apply integrated curriculum of actual secondary school teaching experiences; through education modeling, internship demos and seminar discussion to prepare for the next phase of practicum. In addition to actual participation in secondary school, the students can learn collaboration through group work to fulfill the topic-based curriculum design and case. They can also the community school to actually practice so they can be equipped with future planning of curriculum experience and ability.

1.3.3.3.Group C Japanese Counseling:This course follows the Teaching Practicum I to further combine teaching education with their specialty courses to apply the integrated curriculum of actual secondary school teaching experiences; through 8 weeks of internship practices of education modeling, internship demos and seminar discussion to prepare for the next phase of practicum. In addition to actual participation in secondary school, the students can learn collaboration through group work to fulfill the topic-based curriculum design and case. They can also the community school to actually practice so they can be equipped with future planning of curriculum experience and ability.

1.3.3.4.Group D History, Music, Citizen Studies:The course follows the Teaching Practicum I to deepen the teaching ability with important education internship activities. This will drive the learners to acquire important knowledge and connect the classroom with actual secondary school setting to improve selection competitiveness.

1.3.3.5.Group E Math:

1.3.3.5.1.The students can specialize in the related subjects through review and experience sharing of the professional teachers.

1.3.3.5.2.To be in touch of the education environment to learn about the actual teaching environment and student’s personality traits.

Therefore, there is much information collection and analysis on the subjects and topics.

Program requirements and internships

The secondary teacher education program requirements are

1.At least 28 credits with passing grades.

2.Upon the completion of pre-vocational training and half a year of internship with passing grade,one can obtain the "pre-vocational training completion certificate) Pre-vocational secondary school teacher training must exceed 24 months (2 years) (excluding half a year of practicum).
