Cashier’s Division FAQ - Soochow University

Q1: What should I prepare if I am notified to collect cash at the Cashier’s Division?

A1: Please go to the Cashier’s Division at either of the campuses with a photo ID, such as your student ID card, National ID Card, or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), to collect the payment.

Q2: Can the university directly transfer funds to students’ bank accounts?

A2: Yes.

  • Chunghwa Post accounts: Students can enter their postal savings account number and upload a copy of the passbook in the new academic affairs system. All approved payments, such as refunds, financial aid, and work-study allowances, will be deposited directly into the student’s account. Once the transfer is completed, the system will automatically send a notification to the student’s designated email address. If there are any changes to the account information, please contact the Cashier’s Division for handling.
  • Non-postal savings accounts: Please bring copies of your student ID card and passbook cover page to the Cashier’s Division or email them to the Cashier’s Division’s mailbox. Also note that the post office will charge a handling fee of at least NT$30 for transfers to bank accounts.

Q3:Why weren’t the funds deposited into my account?

A3: This may be caused by incorrect input of information such as the Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) number, account name, or account number. If your international student ID number has changed, please update your information at the Registration and Curriculum Division first, then go to the post office to complete the information change registration. If there are any changes to your postal savings or bank account, please update your account details at the Cashier’s Division.

Q4:How do I pay various fees?

A4-1: Payment for tuition and miscellaneous fees, accommodation fees, and mid-term supplementary fees: During the payment period, you can use the Soochow App to access the credit card payment platform (including UnionPay cards) or present the payment barcode on your mobile phone at a convenience store to complete the payment process. For amounts over NT$60,000, please pay at the post office.
