The Soochow International Ultra Marathon will be suspended in 2023.

The Soochow Ultra Marathon for this year is planning to be held, but due to a scheduling conflict with the "2023 IAU 24H World Championship" organized by the Taipei City Government and the Chinese Taipei Super Marathon Association, it has been decided to suspend the event for one year. Instead, Soochow Ultra Marathon will serve as a co-organizer and fully support the preparations for the World Championship, incorporating Soochow's excellent traditional features into the event. The goal is to enhance the level of the race and achieve the objectives of city marketing and international exchange for Taiwan.
