The courses are divided into two major areas and a series of courses are offered thereof. A minimum of 20 credits are required to graduate. Course structure is designed as follows:

1. Basic courses: Basic courses help students to be equipped with theoretical foundation and the cultural and creative thinking capability. Basic courses are required courses, including "Introduction of creative cultural industries”, "Methodology of creative cultural industries”, and "Internship” three courses, a total of 6 credits. Students must complete the courses of "Introduction of creative cultural industries” and "Methodology of creative cultural industries” with passing grades in order to take "Internship”. 

 

2. Courses of professional fields: The courses are divided into four categories. Students can select courses of 14 credits, according to their personal interests and career planning.

(a) "Content Production": The course is designed to include "symbol", "sound", "image", "text" and other elements to help students to gain ability of storytelling.

(b) "Digital Humanities": Under the spirit of creative humanities, using the social geographic information systems (SocGIS) research methods as the basis, the course combines the humanities and social sciences related fields together.

(c) "Cultural Marketing": The course includes three areas of marketing design, brand image, navigation skills, to foster the culture of marketing talents.

(d) "Creative Management": The management course includes three areas, facilities of cultural performances, arts administrative management, human resources management, helping students to apply innovative thinking and to develop management skills.

3.  Prior to applying this curriculum, if students have taken courses of the curriculum before, such credits can be applied this curriculum up to a maximum of 8 credits subject to the approval of the Curriculum Committee.
