The department puts great emphasis on music professionalism, cultural awareness and market trends when hiring faculty members to represent the department developmental direction and characteristics. All faculty members are familiar with performance, theory and education with specialization in each field. Almost all faculty members have studied abroad in Europe, North America and Japan. Future hiring would also focus on recruiting first class professionals; moreover the department will continue to invite world-class masters as visiting and seminar professors to increase student opportunities.
