Cultivating excellence amongst our undergraduates is one of the focus points of the Department, and during the history of our existence the alumni have achieved above par performance. Over 60% of our alumni work in education, research or serve as engineers, and participate in the elite establishments of our nation. Over half of our annual graduates choose further studies, mostly in domestic postgraduate institutes, while a portion chooses to continue their further studies abroad.
The curriculum of our program
is considered well-based in foundation and flexible in application, therefore
creating a balance between theory and practice, our alumni
have chosen to further their studies in various fields, including physics,
astronomy, electro-optical engineering, space science, materialscience, atomic science, medical engineering, aerospace engineering,
information engineering, and naval & marine engineering, amongst others;
with our alumni achieving outstanding performance.
