The Central and Eastern European Center (formerly the Research Center for Central and Eastern Europe) was established in 2012 to promote and strengthen the study of theCentral and Eastern EuropeanCountries (CEECs), including Poland,Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary and their neighbor countries.
The research areas of the Center are as follow:
1.The history of Central and Eastern European Countries.
2.The social and cultural development and developmentalissues of Central and Eastern European Countries.
3.The social policy development of Central and Eastern European Countries and the comparison.
4.The democratization of Central and Eastern European Countries after the reform.
5.The emergence of market economy in Central and Eastern European Countries after the reform.
6.The comparison of the political, economic, social and cultural development from the perspective of post-authoritarian countries study.
7.The Eastern enlargement of the European Union and the aroused issues.
8.Other social phenomenon and issues related to Central and Eastern European Countries.
