Department of International Business

A. History

Founded since 1974, Soochow International Trade Department aimed at trade human capital cultivation for contribution to country after viewing that the close relationship between Taiwan’s economic development and international trade. Through every effort from each head for nearly four decades, our organization and system are towards completeness. In order to improve the professional and research standards of Taiwan’s international business and management, we established Master Program in 1997. In 2002, Executive Master Program was established for promotion of continuing study as well as industry and academic cooperation and exchange.

With the insight of fast changes of global trade environment, rapid growth of overseas investment, and strides of China’s economic development, we understood that Taiwan’s trade pattern has changed tremendously. Therefore, we aggressively cultivate appropriate human capital for current international trade and international business demand specifically on the development and training of professionalism and foreign language ability.
